The Open Garden
The event lawn is 4.4 level acres of Bermuda grass, laid over a graded sand base so it drains in hours rather than days. It is mown to 25 millimetres the morning of every function and it is the only part of the property we will not let a vehicle onto.
Around it: 180 frangipani and gulmohar, a nine-year-old bougainvillea wall along the west boundary, and a treeline positioned so the sun sets directly behind the stage between October and March. That last part was not an accident.

Seven acres in total, of which 4.4 acres is level event lawn. That is 1,200 guests floating, or 700 seated at round tables with a dance floor and counters. The remaining land is the frangipani grove, the parking yard and the service road, so guest movement never crosses staff movement.
Every lawn booking includes a contingency plan agreed in writing when you sign — either a waterproof canopy over the seating and stage, which our team can raise in about ninety minutes, or a same-day switch to the Sheesh Mahal hall at no additional venue charge, subject to availability. It has never cost a client their date.
Yes, and it's underrated. From April to June we run evening functions from 7 PM with misting fans along the seating perimeter and a cooled marquee option. Daytime summer bookings are quoted with a mandatory canopy.
Frequently. The lawn opens from 4 AM for setup on ceremony days, breakfast counters run from 6 AM, and the east gate approach is specifically lit for pre-dawn baraat entries.
Amplified sound must stop at 10 PM per local regulation, which applies to every open-air venue in the district. Acoustic and low-volume music may continue, and dining service runs as late as you need. Functions that want a late DJ typically move indoors to the hall after 10.
Outside photographers and drones are welcome at no fee. Fireworks are restricted to licensed cold-pyro and sparkler effects handled by our approved vendor, in line with the district's green-crackers rules. We'll walk you through what's permitted at the site visit.
Yes — this is the most common multi-day arrangement. Mehndi and haldi on the lawn, sangeet in the hall, phere back on the lawn at dawn. The Bagh Royale package is built around exactly this.
Site visits are free, take about forty minutes, and there is no obligation at the end of one. Bring your decorator — most people do.
