here's exactly what happens

01Table Reservations

There is no charge to cancel or amend a table reservation at the dhaba or the restaurant, at any notice. A quick message is appreciated so we can release the table to somebody else, but nothing is withheld.

Prepaid experiences — the chef's table and set tasting menus — are refundable in full up to 24 hours before the sitting, and are transferable to another date at any notice.

02Event Cancellation Schedule

More than 90 days before the event: full refund of all amounts paid, less a 5% administration fee on the advance.

Between 90 and 30 days: the booking advance converts into a credit note valid for eighteen months against any venue or service we offer. Any amount paid beyond the 25% advance is refunded in full.

Within 30 days: the 25% advance is non-refundable. Amounts paid beyond it are refunded less any costs already committed on your behalf — décor deposits, specialist hire and perishable procurement — which we will itemise for you.

Within 72 hours: the booking is charged in full, as staff, procurement and vendor commitments have all been made.

03Postponement

Postponement is treated more generously than cancellation. If you move your date with more than 30 days' notice and the new date is within twelve months, the full advance transfers with no penalty, subject to availability and any seasonal rate difference.

Inside 30 days, one postponement is permitted with 50% of the advance transferring to the new date. We have never enforced this clause against a family bereavement or a medical emergency, and we do not intend to start.

04Weather & Force Majeure

Rain is not a cancellation event at the lawn, because every booking from Bagh Grand upward includes a written wet-weather plan — a canopy or a move indoors to Sheesh Mahal at no additional venue charge, subject to availability.

Where an event cannot proceed because of a government order, natural disaster or similar circumstance genuinely outside either party's control, you may reschedule at no penalty within eighteen months, or take a refund of all amounts paid less costs already irrecoverably committed.

05Reductions in Guest Count

The confirmed guest count given 72 hours before the event is the minimum billable number. Reductions notified before that point are adjusted in full. Reductions of more than 20% below the count stated on the original booking form may affect the package rate, which we will discuss with you rather than simply apply.

06How Refunds Are Processed

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within seven working days of approval, and typically appear in your account within a further three to five working days depending on your bank. Bank transfers are made only to the account the original payment came from.

To request a cancellation or refund, email bookings@rajwadahospitality.in with your booking reference. You will receive an acknowledgement the same working day and a decision within three.

07Disputes

If you believe a refund decision is wrong, ask for it to be reviewed by the Managing Director. That review is free, takes no more than seven days, and its outcome is given to you in writing with reasons. We would rather resolve it that way than any other way.
